2024-2025 Q4G Athlete Nominations

Cross Country Ski Ontario is pleased to announce the nominations for the 2024-2025 Quest for Gold direct to athlete support funded by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport (MTCS). Each nominated athlete is eligible for funding of $3,899.50 to help support their commitment to high performance sport.

The list of nominees, selection criteria, and athlete contracts are available on the Athletes Tab of the website.

The timeline for acceptance of nominations is very short this year, due to influences out of our control. We apologize for the short notice, and thank you for your patience as we work through these challenges.

Force majeures and appeals must be submitted by Wednesday, June 26 for consideration. The process is outlined in the Nomination and Selection Criteria document. We are required by the MTCS to distribute the funds by June 30.

Nominated athletes have been emailed directly. We will follow up directly with nominated athletes on Tuesday, June 25, if we have not received a response by then.

Congratulations to all Ontario athletes for their exceptional performance over the past season, despite challenging snow conditions across the country.
