Weather for OCup #3 – 3rd update

The Environment Canada weather forecast for the Greater Sudbury area  indicates -20 C for Saturday, Jan 19 and the race will go ahead.  We are cautiously optimistic as local temperatures at Walden are typically 2 degrees warmer.

Start time for Saturday has been pushed back to 1pm.   A final decision will be made race day on site based on actual temperatures and will follow cold temperature guidelines as per the Canadian Competition Rules (CCR) (page 80).

Mini-midget races are cancelled for Saturday and partial refunds will be available.
