Nordiq Canada Snow Day
January 21, 2024, until March 8th, 2024
This year, Nordiq Canada is on a mission to inspire clubs to integrate a Ski Playground into their activities.
By hosting a Ski Playground event at your club between January 21st and March 8th, 2024, you could win a FIS Snow Kidz Prize Pack! This prize pack includes V-boards, dual slalom course flags, a set of race bibs, buffs and toques – everything you need to elevate your club’s ski playground!

The City of Thunder Bay, Cross Country Ski Ontario and Lakehead Superior Nordic Association (Big Thunder and Lappe Nordic Ski Clubs) are excited to welcome selected athletes to the Lappe Ski Center for the 2024 Ontario Winter Games.

Race Formats:
Saturday: Free Technique Sprint Qualifier and District Relay
Sunday: 5 km Interval Start Classic
This event is open to selected athletes in YOB 2008-2009-2010.
Selection races were held in each district.

Gatineau Loppet – Junior – U30 CHALLENGE
On Sunday February 18, 2023, the Gatineau Loppet presents the Junior – U30 CHALLENGE (new this year, U30 instead of U23) during the 27 km Free Technique race. The challenge is sanctioned by Nordiq Canada, CPL points and prize money will be awarded to FIS or Nordiq Canada valid license holders.

Ontario Youth Championships Update: 13 February 2024

The Hardwood Loppet features a 15km or 30km skate and classic discipline race, along with 5km/2.7km/500m Youth Races.
There is also a 15km non-competitive option for any skiers.
A fun event for beginners and experienced skiers alike, this family friendly day includes fun races, draw prizes, awards, light lunch and concludes with marshmallows over an open fire.
