NCD Holds its Year End 2025 AGM

On April 30, 2025 NCD held its annual general meeting.

The NCD as an entity has not been functioning since 2022. The NCD itself as a region with many clubs in Ontario has continued maintaining a voice within XCSO and regional events delivery through specific clubs and club representatives on XCSO Committees.

11 of 19 NCD clubs attended the AGM and voted to dissolve the not-for-profit known as National Capital District, and that the NCD bank account be closed and that all remaining funds and any receivables be transferred to Cross Country Ski Ontario (XCSO), to be held and administered by XCSO in a specific NCD account for the benefit and on behalf of NCD clubs.

For clarity, NCD as a district and member of Cross Country Ski Ontario continues to exist. What has changed is the structure under which it operates. Please review the linked Meeting Minutes for more detail.
