Arrowhead Provincial Park is located just north of Huntsville, Ontario.  It is a multi-season attraction, featuring hundreds of wooded campsites, hiking and biking trails and of course, cross-country ski trails!  There are a total of 33 km of groomed Nordic ski trails (22 classic and 11 skate).

Trails are cut through rolling land, sheltered by hardwood and evergreen stands. All ski trails are packed, groomed, and trackset on a regular basis. Sawmill Nordic Centre includes 11 kilometers of cross-country ski trails, groomed for both classic and skate skiing, 5 kilometers of snowshoe trails and 2km of lit trails.

Ontario’s Para-Nordic Program is designed to provide youth and adults with various types of physical disabilities with opportunities to participate in our sport for purposes of recreation and competition. Categories within Para-Nordic include sit and standing skiing with disabilities such as vision impairment. Our Para-Nordic programs and training camps are organized by a dedicated group of volunteers.Link

RecreationThe Club maintains 11 kilometers of cross country ski trails through a mixed hardwood forest centred on a side trail of the Bruce Trail. We endeavour to groom the trails twice each weekend if warranted and once mid-week. The Club rents portable toilets that are placed near the main and back entrances to the trails.

Thanks to an agreement with the City of Waterloo, the club is able to provide groomed cross-country skiing trails in Bechtel Park in Waterloo. The trails are track set by volunteers for both classical skiing and for skate skiing, whenever snow conditions permit. The lights of soccer field #5 near the indoor complex are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in January and February.
