CCC is partnering with the Coaches Association of Canada for the soft launch of the new Coach Initiation moduleThis Coach Initiation in Sport online multisport module will now be used as a first mandatory step of a new CCC coaching development pathway created to encourage cross country ski athletes (or ex-athletes) to initiate their coach training.

Ontario Cup Series Team & Bib Points!

Congratulations to the Ontario Cup Series Team. Many thanks to XCTimoSport and Rex for their sponsorship of the Ontario Cup Series Team.  The top 20 men and women will receive Ontario swag – backpack, buff and gloves!

Congratulations to  the Ontario Cup Bib Points Leaders!  Top 3 in each age category and gender receive financial awards.

Be at the Ontario Team meeting Friday, March 24 at 1:30pm to receive your awards.

CCC Introduces Coach License Registration & Club Podium Ranking

Cross Country Ski de Canada announces new initiatives!

The Coach license is aimed at all active Canadian coaches.

The Club Podium ranking is designed to recognize and promote club success.

Soft Launch of New Online Coach Initiation Module

Athletes with at least 2 years provincial and national racing experience (as demonstrated by 2 years of distance CPL ranking) wishing to start their coach training in the Comp-Intro. context (CCI-L2T) will be allowed to do so by doing the Coaching Initiation e-learning module and signing CCC Coaches’ code of conduct.

Coaches: Do you need NCCP Professional Development points?

It is free of charge until the end of January 2017 and you will earn 5 PD points. It takes about 1 hour to complete. It doesn’t matter what your coaching level, you just need a NCCP coaching number.
