Ontario Cup #5 Cancelled – Official Notice

In light of Ontario’s and Quebec’s public-health announcements on the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and the global and national response to a fast-evolving situation, the Jury made the difficult decision to cancel Ontario Cup #5. The Jury conferred with Nordiq Canada, Ottawa Public Health and the Local Organizing Committee and understood the safety and health of skiers, coaches, volunteers, and spectators outweighed the need and desire to have a final race of the season. Refunds will be based on the event cancellation policy as per Section 17.6 of the XCSO 2019-2020 Ontario Cup Technical Package.  The Ontario Team Programming & Athlete Development Opportunities will be amended to reflect the cancellation of 2 Ontario Cup races.  Amended document to follow.
